With spooky season upon us, CPSS’s Link Crew team made sure that all of the Grade 9s had a memorable Halloween in their first year at Central Peel. The Grade 9 classes made their way to the cafeteria at 9:45 AM. But before that, the leaders had to check in themselves, get their group numbers, and make sure their tables were ready for the pumpkin carving. With spoons especially in short supply, both teachers and leaders alike were patient and resourceful.
After settling in, the real festivities began at 10:00 AM, when groups began to take the seeds out of their pumpkins while playing “Name That Tune” for 20 songs. 10 minutes later, you could really see the pumpkins coming along. The photo booth ran concurrently as well. The celebrations ended with a few Just Dance songs, before everyone lined their pumpkins up in the front foyer.
Here are some of the teacher supervisors who also dressed up, in addition to a few of the Link Crew leaders.
